Free Dining for 2007!

Disney is testing a promotion for guests that are visiting Disney World this week (December 26-January 1). If you are planning a trip during this week and are staying at a Disney World Resort, you can book your next trip and save from $400-1,500 (depending on your family size). Disney is offering the Dining Plan for free if you book your next trip before you check out of your Disney Resort. This is a huge savings plus the Dining Plan is available for most dates in 2007 . It is an amazing deal and will save your family tons of money on meals at Disney World besides just saving on the cost of the Dining Plan. You do have to put a deposit of $200 per room on your package before you check out. This deposit is refundable up to 45 days prior to arrival.

Mickey's Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom

If you are one of the thousands of people that love Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, you may want to hear about a couple changes this year. We went to several of the Christmas Parties this year and learned some interesting tidbits. The Christmas Parties are much more crowded this year. We actually had to wait 20-30 minutes on several rides that usually never have a wait. On some of the more popular rides, there were even 45 minute waits. The cookie and cocoa lines were the worst. Usually this is a quick stop in and out but this year, we stopped by every cookie location and the lines were out the door.

With Disney's new PhotoPass, the free picture with the family is replaced with a 50% off card for your PhotoPasses. You can save 50% off all of your PhotoPass pictures taken during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Be sure to get your picture on Main Street but also stop by the Christmas tree near the Castle and on the bridge between Main Street and Tomorrowland for more great picture opportunities.

One great freebie about Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is FREE strollers. You never have to rent a stroller for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. You just stop by and pick up a free single or double stroller for your night.

Discount Spring Package - Expires Soon

If you are planning a Disney World vacation for Spring, you may want to book your package before December 16. Disney's discount Magic Your Way Package is good for vacations from January 1-March 8. This package includes your room accommodations at a Disney World Resort and tickets. You get free ticket upgrades to the Park Hopper Option and the Waterparks, Fun and More Option. Remember, Typhoon Lagoon Waterpark will be closed in January. Blizzard Beach will still be open.
