Happy Cinco de Mayo - Spotlight on Mexican Pavilon at Epcot

Since we are celebrating Cinco de Mayo, we are going to spotlight one of my personal favorites at Epcot called the Mexican Pavilon. The Mexican Pavilon at Epcot features a fast food (counter service) restaurant, a sit down restaurant, shopping, a Kidcot stop, and water ride attraction.
When you first walk into Mexico, the first structure that catches your eye is the huge pyramid. The pyramid hosts the attraction, Kidcot stop, and sit down restaurant called San Angel Inn for the Mexican Pavillon. The attraction called Gran Fiesta Tour, was renovated about a year ago and is a fun ride for the whole family. This ride takes you on a tour of Mexico with our favorite friends, the The Three Caballeros.

During the first part of this ride, you will get a look at the popular sit down restaurant, San Angel Inn. This restaurant is very popular for couples and families. It is a darker atmosphere making it a romantic spot for couples. For families it is popular with all of the activities to keep everyone entertained. It is a popular restaurant with some delicious Mexican dishes.

Another popular feature of the Mexian Pavilon is the plaza. You can pick up some fun souvenirs from Mexico including blankets, ponchos, and even a pinata. If you have kids, you can also stop by the Kidcot area and make a free craft. Before heading out of the Mexican Pavilon, be sure to spot by La Cantina De San Angel for a margarita or churro. You can enjoy your margarita in a relaxing outdoor seating area overlooking the World Showcase Lagoon. Insider Tip: La Cantina De San Angel is a great place to sit and enjoy the IllumiNations show.

The Mexican Pavilon is a fun stop along the World Showcase for the whole family. To enjoy Cinco de Mayo and to get the kids excited about the upcoming Disney World vacation; rent the popular movie called The Three Caballeros from Netflix.com.
